Man I'm so glad to see you guys reacting to this. Any show made by both MAPPA and Madhouse is going to at least be absolutely gorgeous, even if the story's trash. But this actually has a really promising concept and I already think people are going to love these characters.

Completely forgot about this, but you asked about the source for this. Takt op.'s actually in a weird place in which it's an original story being told in both an anime and a mobile game. The mobile game is set to release sometime before the end of the year and appears to be some sort of action/character-based RPG thing. Every girl you use in the game is based on and named for a famous piece of classical music. Which makes me a little confused about the main girl Cosette, because that doesn't appear to be a name of a music piece but instead the name of a character in Les Miserables. Maybe musicals count? But it's not the name of a song within the musical and she appears to be the only one that breaks the trend of the few characters revealed so far. Either way, I think it's a good thing to consider as the show progresses. Perhaps there's something odd about Cosette? Either way, this show and game have a really good setup going here. We have so many anime and mobile games that turned everything else into waifus, so why not turn music into waifus?

In case you guys didn’t know/haven’t been told, the song that he was playing for the second fight under the night sky was a part from “Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven. I didn’t actually know before hand but found out from comments on CR after it aired! Also love the reaction, this is my first time watching but I’ve been a watcher/patreon sub for awhile now so I just wanted to thank the whole crew for the reactions you do! They are always amazing!
