SuperflyAlex

Great anime. The entire manga is getting animated in this one season, 25 episodes

Ara Araragi

I love that you joke about it being Re:Zero at the beginning, and by the end you're hoping that it's actually like Re:Zero

Niran

Ngl, the OP and Ed are also a perfect fit for this type of anime

Steve

lol that rezero sounding ass ost when she got shot. Also this definitely looks interesting!

funkymonk

VYNSYX

Kalm

I never understood the dragonball part of the new higurashi. In the original 2006 series Rikka was the only looper throughout the series. There was interactions that was in the old that the new one didn't have like Satokos uncle sidekick was the purple haired girl that was dating Renas dad. And you actually get the storie of the syndrum and Rikkas relationship with the guy when they met I' Gou he instantly blew up the building.

Kalm

I would say original 2006 higurashi story wise was more consistent, you got to see a world where Rena was like 49 years old. The brutality was more realistic looking, there were no filters. You actually see rena beat the purple hair girl face in and they show it😶.

pokriss

So glad you all picked this up, its such a great show so far. Now I pray that you also at some point pick up Paripi Koumei, cause its another banger from this season. XD

Akta mannen

Yees this show is soo good

Osiris Cage

"Color me intrigued" lmao

Reuben Filimaua

Heavy Higurashi vibes with this show in the first episode. Glad you's started this show.. its pretty damn fire so far.

Coping McCoperson

Man after just subbing and deciding to run through these having Sherm say "I don;t like him" the literal second the priest comes on the screen is big brain.
