W for episode 2! Also I have a quick question. Have any of y’all watched hajime no ippo cause if not that would be another great series to watch as well if you consider it.

Osiris Cage

This anime is so hilarious, wholesome, and the action scenes are top tier

K

I member mentioning this show one time, but never expect the day would come! W

Kalm

If you didn't know, Kyoto studio animated this.

zoltar

kobayoshi unironcly has waay better fight scenes than most shonen its like they just want to flex their money and skill sometimes

Ara Araragi

Don't get too hung up on the Norse mythology thing. The show references different mythologies and doesn't really go too deep into them. Fafnir is the name of a cursed dragon from Norse mythology. Quetzacoatl (Lucoa) is a feathered serpent god from Aztec culture. Kanna is loosely tied to Ainu mythology. Tohru is just kind of her own thing, although her appearance is closest to the standard western dragon tropes (huge, scaled, winged, breathes fire).

Touru went full Minato on his ass

This episode made it clear that KyotoAni was like "Hey, you thought we can't do fight scenes?" Spectacular shit, gets even better in season 2. Hope you guys continue this one.

Daisuke_Takahiro

i love how you guys continue to be shocked at the animation quality for a fairly moe slice of life anime. Ah the power of Kyoani studios...and you haven't even seen them animate water yet! ^0^

BZD

So do you plan to watch more of this?

BZD

That was obviously an Old Gilgamesh or Shirou Emiya. That guy threw a sword, only Archers do that.
