I already assumed that it was confirmed lyza is his mentor we had her notes which had a pic of reg on ep 2 of s1 and the flashback when they got to nanchi's place. Also I didn't even notice this but someone commented it that hes carrying what seems to be Lyza pickaxe when he met faputa.

This one of the wildest shows I seen bro. Like even on anime standards it is still insane how much wild shit will just pop off and how crazy the story is. People still sleeping on this series bro.... Its a shame. This and danmachi are ultimately my favorites for this season so far. They just been great.

I don't know if riko's mom is reg's mentor. It very well could be but I am more interested if its the fact that his mentor is involved with creating him, however it may have happen if it gets explained, or if its just a mentor that helped him learn how to fight. I can only see it being the mom if it was simply her mentoring reg how to fight better. I remember at some point reading the mom's notes that she stated she noticed reg hiding and observing her so I guess that means reg definitely was around sometime before riko's mom came around. One of my biggest questions is still wanting to know how Reg was created or came about in the abyss. Especially with his capability of using kamehameha out of his hand lol. It literally has the ability to obliterate anything in the abyss.

Absolutely incredible series. I'm surprised I left it as late to watch it. I find myself just saying "Hadi" walking about the house xD
