I actually really prefer the dub for this show, not only because it somewhat fits the setting more but also because the subs tend to be REALLY off. Especially when they show English text on the screen. There are all sorts of text messages sent between characters, which match the English dub, yet not a single sub matches the messages displayed. Plus some of the translations are just plain incorrect. There are a lot of times where the sub's translation isn't the same as the dub and yet somehow isn't particularly accurate to what's said in Japanese. It's so weird. Somehow they managed to be incorrect in two different ways at once. It doesn't hurt that the show's got an excellent dub cast and some great voice work.

the best show to come out all year ez hope it and super crooks get picked up also its a rare dub is the best version

Watch it in dub

Great show and a more excellent ost, never thought I'd see it being reacted by you guys, big W to the person who requested, I was also considering requesting it, like others would also suggest I highly recommend watching the whole thing. Without saying to much I haven't watched a show that brought out this amount of emotions from me in a long time honestly a great show, considering I wasn't expecting much due to the game but I was pleasantly surprised.

Give the English dub a try! Cuss words just don't hit the same in sub. If you've watched Black Lagoon you know what I'm talking bout.

Kevin J. Coleman

gotta agree with the boys in the comments. the english dub fits the whole vibe of the show alot more than the sub

関口信玄

For a while I thought dub was better, but now I think they're both equally good. The dub has the cuss words and the Cyberpunk slang/jargon, but Japanese still has better voice acting overall (the English voice acting is still decent though). I've gone back and forth a lot for the first few eps, but finally ultimately settled on Japanese. Idk why, but it felt like the English got a little more bland as the show went on. The subs being way off before were a bit cringe, but it turns out they actually improved them during a brief hiatus I took.

Mr. I Like Spam

hearing the sub for a anime based on a video game just feels wrong to me especiially one so heavily based in America.

obito6ix

KEEP IT IN SUB! Please

Tristan

I'm telling you bruh bruh watch in dub. As a very firm sub advocate I had to come to a decision and boy am I telling you the dub hits differently for this one.

Exiliator

I ended up watching both the sub and the dub, and I can definitely agree that the dub is really really good, and even has some things it does better than the sub (the more obvious use of the settings slang/terms etc). But even so I prefer the sub. It had for me at least, way fewer misses when it came to some of the voice-acting of some the characters. So yeah, I vote for sticking with sub, but either way I think you'll be fine no matter which one you go with.

Also Terence at 15:02 😂

cark

Dub is 100% better
