Personally, I'm not a Kobeni fan. I think she's adorable and entertaining, but that's about it. From what I gather, I don't think those who are fans really care about what she has or has not accomplished. I'm pretty sure at least half of it is just the kawaii factor. Maybe the other half is her just being a normal human being with realistic reactions to shit, so they feel she's relatable. Though inevitably there are ppl who have a thing for that type of personality in a girl lol. Just to put things in perspective. I can list off at least five female characters in this series whom I like more than Kobeni. She's pretty easy to shrug off and be like, "Oh, she exists. That's nice, I guess?" I actually didn't think she was anything special when I first read the manga, and didn't find out she was a huge viral meme and fan favorite until way after the fact. XD

Damn Sherm, that really sucks. The adaptation is spot on so far, worth the wait, though I didn't manage to last and read the entire thing before episode 1 aired. Ironically, because a bunch of morons spoiled the ending for me on a comment section, while I was reading a different manga series. So I know exactly how you feel. As for Kobeni, a few sane characters add a bit of flavor in shows like these. But personally, I don't like her either :D
