Ngl I'm torn. Surely gotta have someone die at this point in this kinda fight, and Gil being the first to go def leaves a good impression for the series. On the other hand, we got a chance to see Gil go all out given the scale of this war and if he's really dead before we really get to see it I'mma be disappointed on that front.

I don't think he is dead tbh, we didn't see Tine's Command Spells vanish, though, he might be totally incapacitated even if he survives this, cause Ishtar closed the vault. I don't know, Narita can do whatever he wants to be honest, he is a great writer that's why I'm sure he didn't just hoed Gilgamesh for no reason when he knows he gets hoed in half his apparitions, specially with how loved he is as a character.

This is just trivial, but actually many Servants have multiple Noble Phantasms. Like in Jack's case, Alcides stole From Hell, which allows him to transform into a phantasmal demon. He still has another Noble Phantasm (NP), Natural Born Killers, which enables him to create multiple bodies, and Jack shows that he is still capable of doing that even with his Noble Phantasm stolen. But yeah, Jack pretty much got his ultimate stolen, so his might is greatly reduced now.
