apparently the Glossaryck scene was meant to callback to the first episode of Season 2 where he was teaching Star to "dip down" and tap into her own butterfly form like with Moon, so she apparently used that to uncorrupt the magic, the whole issue with this is that they barely made connections to that scene until this episode, so it just comes off as random bs at the end.

The “dip down” thing is just using spells without a wand. As Glossaryck explain in that episode. What happened is that she just used the last bit of magic left to cast a spell to give birth to a new unicorn that gives birth to all magic again. Cause toffee was killed the last unicorn and all of its magic since the season 1 finale

the "dip down" thing also allows them to tap into their butterfly forms as well though. Also, Toffee didn't kill the last unicorn, he corrupted the unicorn and Star killed it with the whispering spell.
