Wait i think i understand. i still think that it was meili who pushed subaru in those first 2 reset timelines. after the conversation they had where this evil subaru(still dont know whats going on with that) tells her he'll remeber her worries and suffering, new subaru wakes up and informs everyone that he lost his memories. meili after finally breaking through her mask and subaru making that promise does not like tht he forgot so she pushes him to his death. an extreme asf reaction but after living her life the way she did murdering others for less I could see her choosing to do that as her own action instead of acting in imitation of the others like she had always done.
