About the horses running in the final scene, i cant speak too much on it cuz itll make a bit more sense later, but with this context i think bojack is deeply moved by a group of horses running like theres a goal ahead of them, they look like theres meaning to their running. Bojack's taken Secretariat's words (from tv when he was a kid; revisit s1e12 first scene) about running ahead and leaving behind people who are gonna hold him back, to heart. Except it was perverted because he was the one holding people back all his life. In this scene it feels like a more healthy interpretation of what Secretariat's words shouldve meant. But i cant say anything more about how this affects him without future context.
