i think the major problem lies in the departure from using pre-existing iconic western songs and artists in the previous 6 parts (Roundabout, Walk Like an Egyptian, etc). i feel the break from tradition already puts this song in the hot seat for a lot of fans, and puts it under a lot more judgement as the first original ending song for the series (not counting the gag ones in part 3) it’s definitely not the worst, but i get the sentiment that this ED was not worth the departure from the norm

This section of the manga is rougher than the rest. Chapters 12-24 are when Araki was switching from weekly to monthly, so expect the next couple episodes to be trimmed down because this is when the story was figuring itself out more.
