"Elegant, isn't it?" Kuvira's husky, low voice hummed in the large, metal plated room. She scoffed, "Well, brutish, simple, indulgent - but elegant in a certain way. Wouldn't you say, Avatar? Or is it too hard to speak?"

Korra's humiliation was complete. Beaten in battle, captured and now held in such a way that she wasn't even bound. No chains, no cuffs, no rope and yet she was utterly paralyzed. Arms overhead, her bruised hands were making indents in the enormous pillar that towered above her. She was forced to bare its weight or be crushed. The pillar itself was made of unbendable platinum, and as for the metal in the room, or the copious sweat on her skin - the powerful woman was under so much back-breaking pressure that one twitch could be catastrophic. Bending her way out of this wasn't an option.

"Th-this is n-nothing! Just wait!" Korra spat, voice shaking and a vein throbbing in her neck as she spoke.

Kuvira made a motion to somebody out of Korra's line of sight, then with a screech and a crash, more weight was added to Korra's load. The Avatar let out a harrowing yell. She grit her teeth and hissed, spittle flying forward. She almost buckled but her muscles swelled further and she locked her knees and elbows. Her eyes bulged, and as Kuvira stepped close the crazed idea of letting the weight fall on both of them crossed her pain addled mind, albiet briefly.

With a flick of her wrist, Kuvira turned a metal band on her wrist into a sharp blade and pressed it softly to Korra's neck. "My generals want me to execute you - but I don't want you dead, Avatar."

The blade moved down, and started to cut at Korra's tightly stretched top.

"I want you broken..."
