There are some more minor bugs I need to fix. After that I'll take a short break and continue working on future chapters.

The lighting in the animated sprite looks like Darius' biceps, pectorals, and underwear are all vibrating.

That's just due to the animated GIF not sticking to one color palette for all the frames. GIFs are limited to 256 colors, but different frames can have different sets of colors. In other words, it's the GIF not the lighting.

Wow, the ending of this version... what a nice plot twist I wasnt expecting! Loved the bath and punishment scenes, really really well written and the CG's are amazingly good. But please, the battle against Darius was super hard, and I was playing on casual, I beat it with lots of luck, please consider maing it a bit easier XDD Well done team, I hope we dont have to wait much longer for more plot!

Weird, it was the exact opposite for me. Beat him on my first try and I didn't even lose any armor until Darius had lost all of his. Glacial strike with abilities that create freeze gems has been my main build since.. forever. It's crazy strong, if not downright OP. Also very satisfied with Darius' punishment scene! It went exactly as I was hoping for, haha.

Well maybe I was just unlucky, but the final stage of the battle wrecked me lots of times xD

There have been a few times fights have seemed really difficult, but I usually find that going for a defensive build helps a lot for those moments. High Tec and Vit, and use Ice Blast, and Frostbite to load up the board with Ice gems. Use Arctic Armor whenever available and the armor enchant that gives you bonus armor for ice gems. You'll find you'll have a lot of momentum once you get going, because it'll just be so hard to damage you.

The last part where he gets all of his abilities refreshed at once with alternate abilities destroyed me a couple times, but I wasn't on casual mode and it's possible my level isn't where I should have it. I was at level 17, 18 after going out of my way to do a couple more battles. Considering that is 10 below Darius, perhaps starting from the beginning later when things are complete wouldn't be so far behind. I did encounter a bug while on the ship quest though. Due to my level, I died to the very first battle. I chose to return to the map, and when entering the dungeon again the white arrow was in the center and I couldn't select the event square I lost to. I'm not sure if that is a similar problem if you give up on any other battles there. Being stuck on the ship at level 16/17 was quite a challenge though, but I did make it through after enough tries.

@ZR I thought your level should be around 20~25 by then. When you're at level 24, you'll get a skill called "Cut Down Counter" which is really useful against Darius. It lets you dodges a physical attack and counter the enemy. If the counter is successful, Darius will get Strength Bound, sealing all of his physical skills. The current amount of EXP we give is probably too low and we will balance that as well. And thanks for the bug report! I'll make sure to check that again. - Punipen

Darius is no joke! I'm at level 17 and he's very difficult! I almost had him but he destroyed me at the end

Try using Strength Bind or Magic Bind gem! If you can Strength Bind him during his last phase, things should be really easy for you. - Punipen
