    How to Use the Save Files

  • Extract the archive.

  • Put the file you want into the game's savedata folder.

  • Rename the file so that the number is between 0 - 24, choosing the slot you want.
    Example:  save_0.kemosave would be the first slot.

    How to Use the System File

@Panda Please make sure that there's nothing blocking the game from making a connection. It's possible that firewall setting might block it. - Punipen

The main story is roughly the same, but the order of the events as well as some details might be different. You also won't get access side events or romantic events in the old version. - Punipen

I think there's an issue if you use google login for Patreon. You'll have to log in to Patreon using a password instead. - Punipen

I can't seem to get my download to run through the itch app on my Mac. No matter what version I try, and no matter if I turn off my firewalls to help run it I still can't get pass the screen that says this the Patreon version for subscribers only even with my internet connection running just fine.

You might have to allow itch or the game to make an internet connection to itch server, since we use that to authenticate players. Please check and make sure that your firewall isn't blocking the game. - Punipen

Hello Dudedle Studio. I have a question. Will there be at some point a cg of Volga losing a tournament fight/Game over scene? I ask because, although I'm sure My memory is botchy, but that in like super early releases of Kemo Coliseum, there was a cg of Volga loosing a tournament fight/punishment. I think it would be neat if there was such scene in a future update.

Hi, I'm a new patron, and am trying to download the game through the itch app. But whenever I try to get past the Connect with Patreon page, it takes me to an error page that says "Your session doesn't match, please try again". Linking my patreon account to my itch account doesn't seem to help either. Any suggestions?

The game is set to only visible to supporters. You have to follow the link in the instructions and connect your Patreon account to your itch.io account first. After that, the game will be added to your library and you can see the project page if you log in into itch.io. - Punipen

Yeah, somehow using the link in a normal browser let me link both accounts. It downloaded the game properly later on the app. Thanks for the reply!

Hi, I'm currently on build 0.9.3631.45 Patreon Edition and I got stuck with the INN being the only option after escorting Rio to Eastshire. When I got to the INN after dark, it seems that Rio is also there still talking with the Linus still before I took him to Eastshire. I am in a soft lock because there is no where else to go, and the INN seems glitched in the same spot...

This has to do with when you extracting the archive. For some reason, Archive Utility will damage the game and won't let you run it. Please try using other applications like Keka instead and see if the issue is still there. - Punipen

Please try connecting your Patreon account to itch.io through a browser, instead of the in-app browser. I think they may have made changes to Patreon API and it might not be possible through in-app browser of itch client anymore. - Punipen

Gifting a membership seems to be something fairly new or at least it looks like the API used by itch or provided by Patreon hasn't supported it yet. I’m unsure if I have the old or ‘revised version’ but I’m noticing that it won’t let me unlock anyone’s hearts beyond the 2nd one except for Aoba. I transferred my save file from the public demo to the Patreon build so I don’t know if that’s the reason I have the ‘old build’? But I’m in chapter 5, and Cyrus has been ‘busy’ ever since chapter 3. Any ideas as to what’s happening there?

The current patreon version is an in development version that doesn't have all the side content and mostly focus on the main story to show supporters that there's progress to the game. We actually discourage people from playing it, unless you want to see the progress, or really just want to know the main story. - Punipen

You can only see it after you connect your Patreon account to itch account, then add the game to your library. After that, it should show up in your library after you log in. - Punipen

I looked at your pledge history and it looks like you were around in 2022 which we started the itch integration already. Please check your itch account if the game is in the library. If you have the game in your library, then you'll always have access to the game. Otherwise, I'll send you the link to add the game to your library directly. - Punipen

Hello, I'm a fan from China. Due to regional restrictions, it's quite difficult for me to access Patreon and Itch, let alone make paid purchases. I remember back in May 2025, thanks to a friend's gift, I became a member of Dudedle Studio for a month at the $3 tier. However, I tried very hard but couldn't manage to connect my Patreon and Itch accounts, so I eventually gave up and only experienced the free content. Yes, if you're already a supporter but haven't gained access to the Patreon version yet, I can provide you a link to add the game to your itch's library. Please note that if you're from China, we have several supporters telling us that due to their regional restrictions, the connection from itch client app to the server may be blocked and you might need a VPN of some sort to make the game work. We cannot provide you with the instructions on how to do this, as we have never experienced them ourselves. - Punipen

Love this game so much, back then i tried the public build, but now i just subscribed around 1 or 2 weeks ago. The characters, story and environment is so good. Can't wait to see more of what this game will bring! Question, i saw to unlock the CG's you need to extract the system file. Where is the system file located or what's the file name in the folder? Patron version bug report: In Chapter 5, during the boss fight against the Bat Assassin, there is a section where you have to protect the panda merchant from being killed. According to the instructions, when the player clears the panda tiles, the panda should be relocated, and the game should only end if the opponent clears the panda tiles. However, when I used a character skill that also cleared the panda tiles as a side effect, I immediately lost the game...

This is not a bug. A gem being matched and a gem being destroyed are two different events. Shuo will only move and is reinforced when the player match the gem. However, if the gem is destroyed by other means, then it is not matched. When you perform an action that destroys random gems and accidentally destroys his gem, this is similar to using an attack that accidentally hits him like a friendly fire. You'll have to make sure he's well protected before performing such risky movement or make sure that he's protected after. - Punipen

The game isn't built in RPGMaker, Renpy, Tyrannobuilder or HTML5, so Joiplay will not work. The game is built in Unity3D, and there is a plan for releasing the native version already. If you really want to play the Patreon version on Android, I suppose using DroidDeck then installing the windows version and play it through SteamOS might work, but I have never tried it. - Punipen

That's an old system file, so it might not work anymore, but all the save data including the system file should be stored in the game save folder. If you run the game on itch, there's an option that will take you to the save folder on your device. - Punipen

If you ever do, the obvious choice is more 'Game Over' scenes like say losing to certain bosses...or heck, if you really want, a unique game over scene for each area during the storyline event in those places. Though the former is definitely easier.

Playing the game and notice something, when your at the river with Aoba and he opens the letter (relationship moment), it's still doing the Inn voices as if you're at the inn. Will want to get rid of that sound.

Bringing skills that can [Strength Bind] or [Magic Bind] would help. Volga will learn these at one point but there are magic skills that create these gems too. Since he can counter gems like Burn, Poison, and Freeze, those are not recommended unless you prepare a way to counter them back. - Punipen

He's also very magic dependent, and will try to match purple gems at every opportunity. if you deny him making purple matches, he becomes much easier to manage and lose access to his most dangerous skills

Hi im a little unsure if I got the current version since when I start the game it sais "0.9 2017. 34" Patreon Edition on the top left. Im not sure if Im stuck at the first version. I manually checked updates and it sais its up to date. I can only select 1 character, or did you change it so you unlock new characters when you complete a chapter?

The original plan was to have three playable protagonists but this had been changed but the UI haven't been changed to reflect that yet. To ensure that you have the latest version, you can force updating the game by right clicking and choose "Update" from the right click menu in itch client. - Punipen

It's hard to tell due to the nature of it, but I think it's possible that I've found a bug. I'm playing Windows build 51, and I've started a new series of save files on Extreme difficulty. In my first play session (starting from a new game), the game difficulty appeared to be as expected, and I saved a few times (in case this is relevant, I overwrote a few save files from older builds). I'm playing on one of the aforementioned saves now. The fight UI shows that my difficulty is set to Extreme... but the AI doesn't seem to act like it. Notably, the AI has ignored potential matches of four; in one notable case, there was a move that would have made a match of four of a color at the start of the AI's turn, and at the end of the AI's turn, there was still an available move for a match of four of the same color in the same general area of the board. I'm inclined to suspect that there might be some improper handling/saving of the variable for difficulty level either at the point of overriding an old save or at the point of loading a save file. With that being said, since the UI still claims that I'm on Extreme difficulty (both in battle and in the settings menu), I'm only able to guess based on observations of the AI's behavior.

Any chance of Gruebert getting on that datable list? A thought on the game design : could there be an indicator for areas in the game with new content? It can be tedious to click through all of the different interaction options for every area only to find nothing new.

After this is done, it's possible that we will add more minor characters to the list such as Gimdin, Gruebert, Murvin, etc. As for the indicator, that's a great idea and I'll definitely work on that in the future. Yes, but they won't follow the same coliseum battle storyline like Volga. It's also possible that we might take a break to do something else first before coming back to them, either as an add-on of the same game or a different game entirely. Honestly... this game is amazing. I started out playing and rushing through dialogue and being annoyed at the battle system, since i hated those types of candy crush type games... But after playing again due to my old save corrupting (Last time i played was at the chapter 1 end's build!) i started to love the characters, story and game mechanics and no joke... this game has made me like that style of battle system!! TRULY i only want the best for you all, all characters are super hot and the game itself is amazing. Just became a patreon just to show and support my faith in this wonderful game! I have completed the game to the current build and enjoying the game mechanics. Nice that we have some customization with the builds to a degree, but would like to be able to improve our weapon if in a limited fashion like we do our armor. The dating was a nice change of pace to the game and can't wait till we get more of it. Hope there's more to do in chapters 3 & 4. as nice the main story line is the world felt a bit empty without the nice funny side quests to provide additional content. Hope there's also more gear/skills to further the build set-ups we can do. Though I'm not sure if aruras were working or are they only active at that level armor you have on? I have on the cleansing and the burn auras but they didn't seem to be working, they were on my inner armor levels.

Hi, I'm happy to hear that you like the game! As for the translation, thank you so much for the offer! I think this has been said before, but we had to drop Japanese language for now and focus solely on English language. Originally, the game was written in both Japanese and English at once. However, this means the amount of work and time spent on writing are doubled, and it affected the game's progress. Maintaining and updating are even worse since any changes have to be synchronized between both languages. For a game that's in development, many things in the game are not finals, and thus all the maintaining only slowed down our development speed. Because of this, it was clear that we had to finish the game in one language first before moving on to another language, in order to cut down unnecessary maintenance tasks. Considering most of our supporters are English speakers, English language was the one we had to go with. This is why some Japanese texts are old or not the same as the English texts, and why there are many untranslated lines. Because of this, we are not looking for any help with a translation right now. I think we'll take a look at localization again only after the first version of the game is done. We'll surely make an announcement post about it if we're look for help! - Punipen

Yes. Although you can switch the game's version back to the April 2021 version in order to play up to chapter 4. I do not recommend this, as you won't be able to use the save files from that version, but if you just want to see what things will be like then that's the way to do it. - Punipen

While I like the idea, managing and moderating a discord server is also a job and I don't want to add anymore work that will distract us from finishing the game at the moment.
