Hello, Patrons. The following is text from my ruleset, which I am currently engaged in writing. Does this make sense to you? I appreciate any feedback. Begin text:

Character Attributes

Your character is defined by six attributes:

Strength (STR): melee attacks, lifting, pushing, pulling

Reflexes (REF): defense; missile attacks, dodging, sneaking

Constitution (CON): resist poison, cold, heat, & disease, running, swimming

Intelligence (INT): cast spells, languages, book knowledge

Wisdom (WIS): cast prayers, resist mind control, perception, practical knowledge

Charisma (CHA): leadership, charm, personality

Rolling Attribute Scores

To determine the attribute score, follow this procedure:

1)  For each attribute roll 3d6. Each roll of “6” produces +1 in that attribute. Results are cumulative. For example, the player makes the following rolls:

   4,6,2= +1 STR

   3,6,6= +2 REF

   5,1,5=   0 CON

2)  You may two exchange any two attribute scores.

3)  You may raise any attribute score by +1 in exchange for lowering another score by -1. Negative scores are acceptable.

4)  A character without at least a “+2” in total bonuses has died of plague. Roll a new character.
