Hello Patrons!

If you didn't read my previous post, I had to get a new video camera. I've been camera-less since Thursday evening, when I was at the tail end of completing a video on Charisma. Because of this unforeseen issue, I won't have much to post this week, but I want you to know I'm working hard. So to give you some idea of what my week is like, here is my schedule and diary:

Thursday August 13: wrote, shot, and edited an extended episode on Charisma. Almost done when camera stopped working. Assumed it was the battery. Ordered new battery.

Friday, August 14: wrote 14 pages of an upcoming adventure module called [REDACTED] for [OTHER YOUTUBE GUYS, REDACTED] while waiting for battery to arrive.

Saturday, August 15: wrote 14 more pages of the adventure module. Battery arrives at 3pm. Plug it into camera and discover it does not work. Think, "maybe it's not charged" and plug it into the charger. Wife drags me to social engagement--it's my friend Bill's birthday. We play The Great Dalmuti. I win. My first victory Since August 2019. Yes, we keep track--in a notebook that's 20 years old.

Sunday, August 16: Nope. Not the battery. Wrote 6 more pages of [REDACTED]. Went to Best Buy. Sent broken camera off  with the Geek Squad. Cried. Bought a camera.  Edited [REDACTED] and submitted it to the editor/publishers 3 weeks early.  Told them I will play test it with [STILL ANOTHER YOUTUBE GUY, REDACTED] by the end of August. Editor asked if I was going to stream it. I said no, it's just a private game. I'll keep thing on the DL.  He thanked me for submitting it early, Played two games of City of Spies. My wife won one. I won the other. The important thing is my daughter lost (she wins 60% of the time when we play board games).

Monday, August 17: Drove to NYC. Sitting in father's house writing this update-- right now, actually. Then I will edit Dungeonhack. Lunch with wife, daughter, father. Painting with Adhesive Tom this evening. Will be live on Discord for about an hour, if people want to talk about stuff. Then will drive home (40 minutes). Will listen to Questing Beast & Runehammer in car.

Tuesday, August 18: must figure out how to work new camera. Shoot model test footage. Shoot talking test footage in new studio. Must complete Charisma video and edit the test footage. Will post both. Celebrate daughter's 21st birthday with dinner. Pray she does not insist on her favorite vegan restaurant. Lord, please.

Wednesday, August 19: pack for trip. Finish and schedule videos if I haven't already. Drive to Bethlehem, PA to pick miniatures offered by a fan, then on to the Pocono mountains. Will be taking Brandish Gilhelm's Retune to read. Also a bunch of games to play. Among them: Imhotep, City of Spies. Splendor, Tiny Towns, and whatever else my daughter wants to play.

Thursday, August 20: wake up early and edit Dungeonhack. Read Retune. Hike or whatever my daughter and wife wants to do.

Friday, August 21: wake up early edit Dungeonhack. Do whatever wife and daughter want. Drive back late.

So as you can see, I'm always working, even if there's little to post. So much of Dungeoncraft--maybe 80%--is writing and struggling with tech issues.  So thanks for your patience and continued interest. And now, I have to get to editing DungeonHack. Hope to see you on Discord later.

Cheers!
