Fun stuff Professor! Boss battles are always tough because they can sometimes be not fully as challenging as we the DMs hope. It was still great as evidenced by the cheers of the group when they rolled well etc. I absolutely love the idea of ending off the adventure with allowing the players to write their own resolutions! Thanks so much!

PDM, another great game session with real people playing the game unscripted. IMO, videos such as this are great for player both new and old for various reasons. The table setup isn’t cluttered with books, a GM Screen, and other items. The players can be clearly seen interacting with others without the Hollywood Squares view of online gaming. The music in the background adds ambiance. Both dice trays positioned for easy reach. The original ideas, laughs, excitement and anticipation of dice rolls followed by the growns and cheers. For many of these factors is why so many play the game. You were very well prepared, and the audio was crystal clear. Capturing the entire table and it’s players in your video was very captivating. Gameplay went smooth with very few and’s and umm’s. This obviously took a great deal of planning and work. If I’m wrong on that I’d be very surprised. This was nothing short of outstanding. Thank you for all your hard work. It’s inspired me on a new table setup. Bravo!

Thanks, Jay! I appreciate your kind words and will try to remember to set up the table the same way in future episodes.

Great session! Quick question. Where is the castle ruins terrain from?

Daniel Defazio

Some I made. Some is scatter terrain I've picked up of built over the years. I got most of them wandering down the endless aisles of GenCon and the makers are lost to memory.

What an awesome game. Your group sounds great to play with. Looking forward to the next adventure.

That was a lot of fun to watch! Combat moved at a nice pace but never felt rushed in any way. PDM - "Tom, Gene, do you want to step into the circle with this 7 ft tall, cleaver wielding, near indestructable super-soldier?" Tom and Gene - "Sure!" That's how heroes do it! One question; when Veronica chose to fling rubble at The Ginormous was she using a particular spell or did you just run with her idea as it was cool? Just curious as to the mechanics you used to resolve her attacks.

Great session and awesome adventure! Love seeing these.

Fun video! I joined your Patreon mostly for the chance to watch your group play together, and I really enjoy it. The closing credits with Bowie's "Heroes" was a great touch.

Better than Critical Role! Thanks to the cast of players

Totally stealing this scenario whenever I run a D&D game next!

Finely caught up with everything now my semester has ended. Thanks for putting this together it was well broken up and really did remind me of the caves of carnage. A few questions you have said that you don't really like feats but a few of your players have them are there certain feats you allow? Are there any healing potions in your game or healing spells? I remember that everyone has to roll for spells so healing spells might not be too popular in your game. How do you use magical scrolls, wands, and other wonderous magic items in your game? Your world is more realistic so I am curious how and if they fit in.
