This is a little late for reasons I explain in the bonus content. Two of the best supplements I've read all year!

Good review, I have my copies. Why are you wearing the +2 vest of protection, expecting trouble? As to your computer, you need a cloud account, you won't have to clean up your local drive.

Brent Norton

I normally like your video reviews but the angle at which it was shot is messing with me. I keep wanting to move my phone to flatten it out. Was because they were glossy finish?

Jeff Jones

But I've already got these! I backed the companion on kickstarter.

Matthew Smiley

Dang it man! My wallet is already bleeding money lol.

I feel you, wifey found out about my Kickstarter addiction and put me in rehab.... :(

Love Mike Shea's stuff. You can't really call yourself a video person until your accidently erase/delete some footage. Welcome to my hell.

Martin

Mike Shea's doing good work. Been a fan of his dm philosophy. Great review.

Michael Shea

Thank you so much for the review and the kind words! So sorry to hear you lost the original extended version. I one time shot two 30 minute videos and in the last 5 minutes of the second video I found out my mixer had turned off my mic and I had no audio for 55 minutes of content. The good news is that I hadn’t edited it yet. Editing takes me the longest. But it was still a drag to shoot the video again. It was a LOT faster the second time =D

Perfect is the enemy of the good. Perfect is also the enemy of done. Michael, what is a Spiral adventure or campaign?

Shane Olson

Yeah, imperfect shows your humanity. We're here for the content. This was a good one! Love all of Mike's stuff! (Brian, I think it's where you start your adventure at some location, then spiral out from there).

Added both to Xmas wish list, will give the kids something they can put under the tree for me.

I've been singing the praises of the Lazy DM line for a while, as the books have helped improve my games dramatically. I simply will not run a session without the Workbook (the Lazy Lairs section alone is worth its weight in gold). I highly recommend the entire collection, and I hope this gets more people to pick them up (best DM tools out there, imho)

shaolinpunk

have ordered both after watching the review on YouTube, and the PDM answering my question, happy to now join the Patreon also :)
