Tomorrow night movie poll!
- Dragonheart 10
- My cousin Vinny 2
- Alien Nation 4
I have narrowed it down to 3 choices for tomorow nights movie. Choose your favorite! I will also be adjusting my time in order to accomodate your time change. So we will be at the same Bat time, same bat channel. Ok so here we go.
The first option was suggested by some of you last week and that is Dragonheart. I have never seen this movie btw.
Disillusioned knight Bowen (Dennis Quaid) befriends Draco (Sean Connery), the last of the dragons, and the two begin scamming village folk as Bowen repeatedly "kills" Draco for money. Bowen soon learns that Draco is the same dragon who once saved his former student, now King Einon (David Thewlis), from death by giving him a piece of his heart. Einon is now a merciless tyrant, and Bowen is compelled to stop him -- but the bond between king and dragon means if one dies, the other does as well.
Release date: May 31, 1996 (USA)
Next up we have My Cousin Vinny. This one is hilarious and stars Cobra Kai's Ralph Machio, Marissa Tomei, and Joe Pesci (that name reminds me of fish).
New York lawyer Vinny has never won a case. When his teenage cousin Bill and his friend Stan are accused of murder in a backwater Alabama town, it's up to the nervous Vinny to save him from jail, even though he's only ever tried personal injury cases before, and none of them successfully.
Release date: March 13, 1992 (USA)
And finally we have Alien Nation. I streamed the entire series a few years back. I don't know why more people didn't like this one.
In Los Angeles circa 1991, humans live alongside extraterrestrial humanoid beings whose spaceship crash landed three years earlier. This coexistence is not always harmonious, as exemplified by segregated slums and the uneasy partnership of police detective Matthew Sykes (James Caan) with new humanoid partner Sam Francisco (Mandy Patinkin). However, the pair begin to overcome their differences as they investigate a slum drug ring led by the slippery William Harcourt (Terence Stamp).
