It's nice to see this side of the family. I always got the impression that, unlike Dave and Dirk or Rose and Roxy, they didn't share as many bonding moments in the original, and I kind of get it... John was raised by his father and only knew Grandma Jane the day the game started and the day he lost his father... Jade only knew Stuffed Jake, who was dead... Jane was raised by her father and never knew Grandpa John... The only difference is Jake, who did know and had a family relationship with Grandma Jade, but she was murdered when he was young... While Rose and Dave had a complicated relationship with Bro Dirk and Mother Roxie, John and Jade's relationship with Grandma Jade and Stuffed Jake was "an important relative who died a long time ago and I don't remember them". (Ironically, Jade and Jake are the ones who have the strongest relationship for being pen-pals for years<3) Even so, you can't deny the familial potential between them all, plus they all have an automatic affection for being family (^_^) The thing is, I like seeing the black-haired kids being a united family too<3<3<3<3
