Sounds like a case of inattentiveness to me tbh. Pretty accurate to her introduction. Maybe it's a sort of "if I don't look at it, it won't happen?" But she would've learned better by now right? Reminds me of Vriska constantly believing that her inability to actually upkeep her living space was poor luck because she kept stepping on 8-ball shards when that was her fault for not taking responsibility and cleaning it up.
