Graphic design- Logo Icons (Patreon)

The new home for Vivid needed shiny icons, so we whipped up logos for Dreamkeepers, Skirmish, and Prelude.

Graphic design wasn't our first love but it has really grown on us. Crafting something small, recognizable, which captures the spirit of the entertainment it represents, is surprisingly fun.

The DK logo is our 2020 redesign with illustration added, but the Skirmish and Prelude icons are new.

Skirmish was a pretty straightforward combo of existing assets, but when making something TOTALLY fresh like Prelude it always helps to start with pencil & paper. The initial idea was using a crescent moon to create a "P" shape, but trying to capture the right energy is always easier for us when we go traditional. Then we scan the results, and get the vectors added, then color to polish it off.

Very excited with the progress on the new site, should be MUCH faster, more functional, and infinitely better on mobile. Grand Launch is coming soon, and the store will be hooked up to help with our Raubritter Mom Rescue September fundraiser.
