Normally I'd agree with you or that it was Scinter, but interestingly both are mentioned in the note; implying that it was neither. I wonder if it could possibly be Tia.

I bet Tia wrote this. My first guess was Grunn but the style of writing is too exquisite to be his. Unless he is secretly the smartest one in Troika.

Hmm,the author didn't sign, it would be smart not to have self-incrimination on the table in an organization like that. While the story doesn't entirely revolve around the Troika this sets up some fascinating plot hooks for later.

Mace probably mention about that destiny he have in Vol 4 and people around him think he is deluding himself to cope with the situation. It's pretty sad, but not entirely unexpected.

The most prominent characters not mentioned here are Bobby and Grunn. I doubt Grunn could form a coherent paragraph, so I thought it might be Bobby. But it doesn't sound like something he would say. Yeah, probably one of the Trioka members that we know less about.

Oh wow, I'm surprisingly confused: who's point of view is this note written from? At first I thought it was Scinter, but nope! "My logos" expedition made me wonder briefly, and humorously, if it were Grunn and he was smarter than he appears (nope!). Could it be the woman who was speaking with Nainso at the end of V4? I'll have to check the book when I get home.
