Trying a holiday special offer on for size.   Do you think this would be more or less effective if I yelled like the flex tape guy?   I draw a lot of comics, but haven't made as many commercials.  Input helpful!

What would make for the most persuasive Dreamkeepers commercial?

Please don’t start yelling, you’re awesome enough as is :)

While yelling would indeed be cringey and cheap, I did notice that the pace and narration were less than exciting; you even sounded bored at some points. The lack of background music for the animation also contributed to this. In addition, you did not describe the game itself, even briefly, leaving first-time viewers confused as to the nature of the game, and whether it is something they are interested in; the closest you came to describing it is the implied comparison to Magic in the beginning of the video. A faster pace, more enthusiastic narration, and perhaps finding a way to incorporate the fighting/battle snippets from the old DK commercial (though perhaps the old commercial's aspect ratio is incompatible with the widescreen format of the this commercial?) would help make the commercial more exciting and enticing.

It's OK for promoting a book or merchandise but not enough for a card game commercial. Maybe ad more Nicholas Albrecht's music, show more gameplay and ad some Jon Bailey voceover. CROSSFIRE tabletop game commersial comes to mind.
