Grunn thought he had escaped from Child Hell, but it simply got smaller.

The aftermath of the battle offers no safe harbor to our protagonists.  Solid ground within sight but out of reach, it's time to cast off.

This makes me almost feel bad for Grunn. Almost, but not really. And hopefully they all figure out why Nabonidus wants Mace soon.

I feel as though the kids' lives are in even more danger with Grunn than they were with Taphos.

He might be the one to go back to the orphanage. He can actually fly, though. (Source: a commission Dave did years ago)

Iselwyr

I'm betting that's not actually bast.

Death of Ink

Story of Grunn's life, stuck with the company he hates most: Childrunn.

Tia really takes charge!! Such a cool lady, she does action and leadership well. Also, does Evzen wanna come along and complicate the main gang’s love triangle adorably?

Iselwyr

Narin is not happy at all

Synariel

What about the indigo?

Death of Ink

Mace likes Lilith, Bast likes Lilith, Namah likes Bast, Lilith might like Bast, Mace and Namah will probably fall for each other down the line, and Evzen had a little crush on Lilith in Prelude. Yep that's appropriately confusing enough.

Death of Ink

My current theory is he wants his power. Get Mace to unlock it, then steal it for himself.

TyLego

I can only imagine Namah wearing WWII style flight equipment. XD

TyLego

Yeah, that makes sense. He's probably going to use Mace to tip any future battle against Void and his minions in his favor.

TyLego

Well, aren't Mace and Namah about the same age? 14? Cause I thought that was it last time checked.

TyLego

I think one of them may be a cripple at this point and the other severely traumatized.

Iselwyr

I'm going to hazard a guess that the wrbt back to troika base via the telepad

TyLego

One can only hope...though that remains to be seen.

Iselwyr

I've got money on nabonidus calling a temporary accord with the troika, void is the biggest threat to them both

TyLego

Nabonidus wants to control everything, so I don't think he would call a truce unless he were to have ulterior motives. But then again we'll just have to wait and see.
