Death of Ink

I'm actually scared of Nainso right here...

TyLego

I would've gone the waterboarding route, but this works too I guess.

Benjamin Varner

Oh boy, don't want to get on Nainso's bad side.

Tim

How on Earth was this supposed to be a television show for kids?

Charlie Ascende

He doesn't look strong to me nor intimidating. The last thing I can do if I was in her position is to try to break his arms and knock him out before using my brute strength to ram my way through the wall or a door... or search for the keys to the door and unlock it.

Nainso The Negotiator doing his job pretty well looks like. 😎

Brighttail Faux Pas

So now I have questions. Did they shave Tinsel's hair? It would make sense as she can use it as a weapon. She is attempting to use her power, which I wonder what is it technically if she doesn't have any hair to control? Then there is Nainso who is also using his power, whatever that is. Perhaps he is able to cancel out her power? I hope answers are forthcoming soon!! :)

Synariel

she's screwed ^^

Madd the Sane

Don't know, but he is in volume 1. With a halo. In the middle of a crowd.

Madd the Sane

Yes, they shaved her hair at the end of volume 4. As for using her power: Ravat has said that powers protect the dreamkeeper: her using the power could be involuntary. As well as offering some protection. Nainso activating his power could also be involuntary.

Willysilver

You're quite the driver. Nice play on words.

Airvynk

Chop her tail off, she deserved it.

TryManX

Dang i thought i was quick enough to notice that the powers are always the same color as the halo of the user and that nainso’s power was the blue light on the floor but a quick backtrack to chapter 13 lead to the light being there prior so *snaps fingers* dang

2026-10-24 10:00 Wow, The twins getting hurt must have really pissed him off. Interesting how collective he still can be though. Also I see his halo there, but still a little unclear what his power is.

Still i have to give it to dave for the attention to detail that light on the floor was barely visible on one page!

Brighttail Faux Pas

Well when properly tuned in your powers can protect you, Ravat said. Unfortunately without her hair, it looks like Tinsel's power can't protect her from Nainso simply grabbing that screwdriver that her hand is attached to and bringing it down to the blow torch. So I wonder, if a power activates and these is nothing for that power to do, what happens?

Brighttail Faux Pas

I think it is everything combined. You have Scinter going off and nearly killing a girl, which causes everyone to run away from Scinter into a town that doesn't like the Troika. That leads to a nightmare attack which they barely escape from AND the twins are hunted down and cut up by Ravat, one of them barely escaping with her life. Nainso is done with niceties. Those around him are being hurt and killed and he is so done.

Insomni-act

Ahh Nainso, my fellow sadist.

Rocoro

So... what is HIS power? Accent lighting?

Zyllomeph

Well, her power is active, and it isn't doing diddly-squat to get her out of the hot seat. Hehe, hot seat.

That guy

Well.....this was unexpected. Also, I’m gonna take a wild guess that his power might be illusion and he’s not actually hurting her. I’m most likely wrong, meaning he’d be at home in the film casino

Insomni-act

I feel like his power may be one of those that increases the sensations the body feels of those caught in the radius. Like it can multiply the pleasure or pain you feel.

Cam

Soooo, does anybody else feel like his power might involve sound? Like he’s making a little pocket space where nobody can hear out of? It would make sense with that other scene where he recruits Woods and the other two

Garrett Simpson

He unlocked his inner Mordecai from Lackadaisy!

dizaster

It's either that, or did you notice the blue outline around the room? Maybe it's isolation... Like he didn't want anyone here him... Does what he did with the screwdriver and blowtorch count as torture?
