Eunoia is up, apologies to my ahead-in-time-zone folks. I had a lovely birthday (not mine) celebration yesterday that went on til 3am! I'm a bit yawnsome today, but it is definitely worth it.

Oh.. "fun" exercise I'm making everyone in my life try because I think it's an interesting convincer of sorts..

Think about a task/event or something that is taking up a large part of your conscious attention. 

Got it? Now, describe in a single *written* sentence your intended successful outcome for this problem or situation  (ex. The back garden looks more inviting).

Now.. write down the very next physical action required to move the situation forward. (ex. Contact a few pressure washer companies to get quotes). 

So far, everyone I know that has tried it (and, granted, a few of 'em are sleeping in!) found there is a positive. You clearly define the positive outcome and you clearly state the very next step to take. For my sleep-deprived Monday, this is a simple brilliance. 

I've also put "The squeaky stroker toy shouldn't be a sticky squidgy mess anymore" and  the  next step is "replace toy & lube"  See? Very practical.
