Running Man

Oxy

Running man :) older episodes especially

cru3l_tmo

Oh, should I just begin watching with episode 1, 2, 3 etc. or are there any good early episodes specifically? I was thinking, if Running Man wins, to just pick some episodes where I like the guests.

hj y

Personally, Running Man's heyday runs from 2011 to 2013, and since 2017, it's actually Season 2, but I think Season 1 is more fun because there are many games that are played physically. This was the time when the second generation of idols were active, and the reason Why Running Man was popular was not simply because of the guests, but because the regular member's activities were great. But I respect your choice.

WHATSURETA

Any plans of kinda survival shows like devil's plan, bloody game, the genius etc?

cru3l_tmo

Thank you hj y, so you mean between 2014 - 2016 it wasn't that good but starting 2017 it became better again?

cru3l_tmo

Hey there and welcome to my Patreon :) Actually, I have both Devil's Plan and Bloody Game as well as stuff like Busted on my PTW, the first two I also had on previous polls already. So far, the interest wasn't that high on them yet

Oxy

For me i would love it if you acually started from the first episode so u can get to know the cast and see their growth, ik we not watching over 1000 episodes but a few ep from the start would be awesome, not many people watch running man for the guests, we watch for the og cast :)

Oxy

The genius is the best !

cru3l_tmo

I can put The Genius on the next poll then! Where can I stream that?

Oxy

I promise ur not gonna regret it, its much worth it to first love the cast and then u can look at the guests later down the line :D

generalizing here, but: early RM (2010-2012) was when a lot of the cast developed their characters and the name-tag game became a popular staple mid RM (2012-2015) was sort of the heyday of rm popularity wise, lot of themed races and such later RM (2016-now) started to wind down the physical or outdoor games, still really fun episodes interspersed but also some low periods rating wise idol episodes can be fun, but if the idol is giga popular, then their screentime might be reduced to just glazing. it's hard to create a short list of fav episodes, but my humble sampler would be 13 (yooruce willis), 38 & 91 (yoomes bond), 213 (villainesses), 388 (lee da hee & kwangsoo chemi). the family package (392-396,399-400, 406-408) is also a fun set of episodes where kept the same guests for a bit so they built a nice repertoire

cru3l_tmo

Thank you for the history, that really helps. I think I really like the idea of just starting from the beginning. However I gotta find streams for that, hopefully they're available somewhere with Eng Subs haha. Any ideas?

JohnyProdman

i think kocowa would be the paid route, while goplay.su (start at running man classics) or myrunningman.com (just need to make a free account) would be the free versions. decent quality, but i think hd is hard to find for old shows unless sbs or whomever remasters them. i remember they did that for xman but no subs and wasnt available in my region anyway
