The heartbreaker episode... this was tough man. Especially when my girl Seungeun started bawling her eyes out :'( That got me.

Part 1

Part 2

And my Top 5, now only consisting of trainees/idols still part of the show as of the end of episode 5 :'(

To my pleasant surprise, Kim Hyerim made it through as the Korean one pick by the Planet Masters. That was a nice present. I'm obviously still sad that we don't get to see Lin Chen Han, Xia Yan, Sim Seungeun, Lee Rayeon, Kim Sein and others ever again on this show :(

How did you survive the elimation proccess? Were your favourites untouched or did you loose some?

my other favs like you dayeon, rayeon, yeongyung, yunji, sun woo didn't make it 😔 but i'm glad my underrated favs like cheukying, ruan and xinyu made it and if it was based on individual votings, most of them would have made it in, like for example for each c k j but make it individual voting, so they'll end up reshuffling the cell to make it more interesting

Only surprise this episode was yurina and chaeyun everyone else I expected cai bing and yeseo were in the exact positions I predicted crazy I’m very happy about mashiro too actually she’s quickly becoming one of my favorites along with yujin obviously and cai bing and yeseo. By the way in case you were confused the cell votes and individuals votes were separate so people in the same cell didn’t get a boost or anything because of yujin or even bahiyyih in the top 9 votes that’s why I wasn’t surprised by yeseo or cai bing because they’re individually very popular so yujins cell was obviously number one with them two in it and may was fourth in Japan group so yeah but now that cells are gone I expect all cherry bullet members except maybe jiwon to be gone top 9 guaranteed probably for this round so other 14 very curious who they are and don’t know if they’d do it but xiao ting seems leader like because I don’t see yujin because she’s so young attitude wise she seems to cute to be a leader hikaru too young cai bing too laid back in personality but she is oldest in the show ruiqi definitely not leader she’s more of a mood maker or nct Johnny of the group yeseo obviously too young chaeyun too mashiro though is leader like and yurina is like the Sakura of this top 9 might not be most talented but very globally popular xiao ting just screams leader especially with her attitude and experience But it’s a kpop group so don’t know if they’d allow that yujin might become leader solely because of that

the show is 3 months so 12 episodes, we are almost half way done.

so they actually didn't mention this in the show but Yurina has already debuted in a J-Pop group, the show only mentioned that she is a model and actress.

man i'm worried about Jiyoon, i'm voting for her and she is in my personal top 9 as well, but she is currently rank 14 among the Korean trainees. She has to get into top 8 to not be eliminated. i was sad that You Dayeon got eliminated, she was in my top 9.

It's sad to see that Dayeon was eliminated, yes. But she had it coming with what she did. I honestly think that was her grave she dug herself there. It's unfortunate, cus that stuff happens, but when you're on a mnet show where they will focus on that and also not give you much time to shine on the flipside, you're going to be judged by people based off of minimal information. I'm also worried about Jiyoon :( I vote for her now everyday!

Oh really? I thought they even said she was a bit inexperienced. Weird to say it like that then. Because that's why I was so impressed with her initially, that she performed so well despite her lack of experience

12 episodes - that's good though! I was afraid it's going to be 10. Fun fact: Mnet will also air Show Me The Money at some point, usually it airs in September/October but they haven't announced a date yet, so I assume they are waiting if GP999 will do well enough for SMTM to be delayed or if they just overlap it like usual

I mean, we Germans also write with roman letters haha. I have always had this handwriting. And that is rushed and bad handwriting for me already. I can do much better :D

The numbers at the bottom of the ranks were votes. The number to the bottom left was the total Korean votes while the number on the bottom right was the total global votes. They take the votes and apply their formula to get the bigger total points score next to the rank which represents 50% Korean and 50% Global.

lol i know you guys also write with the same letters. my point was that you are writing words and arrangements of letters that you didn't know natively, and it looks better than mine.

Thank you for watching :) I don't know what you said in Korean, the papago translation also doesn't really make sense hehe. Still, appreciate the support!
