What are your thoughts on the final group? What did you think of the voting system, in particular the fact that Korean votes were counting for so much? Leave all your thoughts down below!

well while i do agree the 50% korean votes is ridiculous, what surprising is even if they abolish that system and make it 100% global votes the only thing that will change are Ruiqi and FYN will make it to debut line-up instead of KDY and Yeseo. that means 7/9 of the original line-up will still make it to the debut group regardless.

ofc i would prefer 5:2:2 ratio or even 4:3:2 as the show was intended to make a global girl group. but ngl the debuting group is really solid. we know there are 5Mill viewers on Abema TV in Japan, so the fact that Mashiro and Hikaru make it will open up a path in the japanese market (they are the top 2 picks in Japan). and Youngeun has an absurdly royal fanbase (in a good way ofc). she won both the Ad Event in Universe and her score in the last Ad Event was around 34M Klaps that converted to around 35K USD (cmiiw). and even tho imo Bahiyyih is not ready for debut, her huge fandom will help a lot on viewers for music video. as GP999 has relatively low ratings compare to Produce series (because past manipulation issues) that 3 point that i said will help them gain massive international attention so they won't be flopping when they debut.

Which would be a 4/3/2 lineup with 3 chinese. That'd be a first to have such a big % of chinese members in a Kpop group. I would have loved that.. D:
