I disagree with the comment that Suzy’s character is leading the policeman on because she’s being "overly" nice to him. As far we know the girl is not even aware of his feelings for her and she was nice to him because she sees him as a chose friend due to their shared ability. There was nothing extraordinary in the way she treated him. So no she is not "leading him on" because there behavior toward her m was completely platonic just being nice to someone isn’t necessarily romantic.
