SNSD is all over my Patreon these days and they're slowly but surely taking over my brain too. God I love them!

I am watching your reactions now, so sorry for the late comments. I just wanted to respond to some thoughts you had during the reaction. I also agree that SM seems to be misjudged. From the outside, people think that SM is the worse towards their Idols. But the more you watch SM Artists interact with each other and Lee Soo Man, who people accuse the most. Its getting clearer to see that SM Artists have real close family like relationship with each other and with Lee Soo Man. Much closer then JYP or YG Family. If SME was such a slave factory, then many of their Idols like SNSD, wouldnt stay in the Company for 15+ years, while JYPE and YGE struggle to keep their Idols past 7 years. Also SPAM is a long time brand of canned cooked pork from the USA.

Don't you worry, late comments are always appreciated :) It makes it a bit harder to recall all the things I had said of course, but most often it's still possible. I had really never heard of SPAM before lol, but now thinking back on it.. I might have seen that in some movies before. I agree - with your agreement to my argument lmao. No, but seriously. SM is a family for sure. I think YG is too, but it's kinda selfmade. Yang Hyunsik surely isn't the factor here and I think the board of YG seems to be "too businessoriented" if you will, whereas JYP can literally not hold their artists for whatever reason. Maybe interesting fact here: I made a compilation of best labels (ranked by cumulative digital score since the implemention of Circle Chart in 2010) sorted on the one hand by current artists and on the other hand sorted by all time. JYP is 5th total but only 8th in current, whereas YG is 2nd total and 3rd current and SM is 3rd total and 2nd current. SM does hold their artists for the longest, YG is a bit bigger all time though and JYP is just.. worse in both.

The question about Sunny's uncle: it's actually Lee Sooman and I'm not kidding, you can look it up. Sunny had to deal with that fact for her entire career cause people kept bringing up that she's the niece of SM's CEO and founder but she earned her spot with talent and hard work.

Wth I couldn't believe it so I had to google that on top of your comment. Sorry for doubting you but I really NEVER heard that before lol, what an interesting story. I think Sunny is one of the coolest and most valuable members of the group (dynamic) and potentially a successful bias wrecker to Taeyeon for me. Thank you for sharing that info!

I was actually pretty surprised you didn’t know because they bring that up pretty consistently even in variety shows all the time or on YouTube there are always the „did you know Sunny is LSM‘s niece?“ type of comments. It’s a really well known thing even outside of the fandom.
