Late night upload xdd. This was supposed to be uploaded in the afternoon, but I didn't make it in time before I had to leave for the day. Anyways, enjoy the episode :)

Objectively speaking for Boombayah Team 2 - you need keep in mind that the japanese members in that team were all super young and are accustomed to cute concepts aside from having little to none training experience. Minami and Erii were 15 so to them Blackpink's music was an even foreign genre. Chowon herself was only 18 and Hyewon, the oldest in that team was 19.

Like sure, the performance was really bad and hell I still cringe watching it hahahaha But I just hope that you can also keep in mind that the Japanese contestant across the show are performancers without having learnt professionally compared to Korean trainees.

Just taking Sakura and Chaewon that you are familiar with as example. You are seeing a performer with 7 years experience in Japan versus a Korean trainee who had only started training I believe only 7 months before she joined the show

Also...they didn't choose Boombayah. They were literally picked by the opponent team and cried because they were so worried. There's more rap position than vocal position in the song. Someone has to do it even if they can't rap which was why Hyewon first stepped up.

I apologize for the many comments. I had many thoughts hearing your comments/feedbacks and really want to hopefully provide a different perspective that perhaps let you see the performance with another view

You're right, I share your view on this topic. I think I also said that in my reaction. It made the whole situation easier to digest/more reasonable as I had expected based on what I had heard from this moment. People kept just telling me how bad this was and somehow I created an expectation and attribution of underperformance due to mistakes, lazyness or no talent to that. So yes, it wasn't necessarily (only) that, and I do sympathize with them. It is however still comically bad ^^

Totally fine :) I appreciate comments like yours rather than none a lot more. I love discussions and differing opinions are always fun to me in that regard

Btw, you mentioned something about IZ*ONE content in the episode as well. I'd really love to see you react to their variety shows! It's very interesting seeing how they are mostly still awkward with each other in IZ*ONE Chu season 1 and then as time goes by they get closer and closer with each other. Their main content is IZ*ONE Chu (4 seasons) and IZ*ONE Eating Trip (3 seasons). I'd also recommend you checking out their Knowing Bros episode
