Content

Hey, all.

Obviously the content has been slow. I won't get too into it, but my job isn't a fun one (offline, how I pay the bills) and this month has been particularly hard. Anxiety and stress, plus keeping up a facade of "everything is fine" really is draining.

But what refills the batteries is hearing from you! Reply here, talk about yourself!

Again, I want to read about you, so when I ask questions about me or other artists, its to know more about why -you- love that topic. (I only want to talk about me because it's about the only subject I'm an expert on)

Here's some topic seeds:

General Topics:

What aspect of TF do you enjoy and why?

What's your favorite part about the TF / TG kink community?

If you had all the money in the world and could assemble a dream team to create a comic for you, who would write and draw, why, and what would the story be about?

Stuff about me:

What's your favorite thing about my art?

Who are favorites among characters I draw / write (doesn't have to be my OCs, BTW).

Anything that I've dropped or finished that you would like to see me pick up again / make a sequel to?

Last, if you have any questions for me, I'm happy to answer them. I'd rather this not be a big FAQ, but anything that makes this a way to keep connected with you as I fall into a creative dry spell, that would refill my batteries.

What's my favorite thing about your art? You are very creative with your transformations. I very much like your comic Jinn & Garret cause of having a genie mostly but still enjoy it for transformations. 🙂 I also like the Kryptonite comic which was a very interesting little comic series. (Accidental sexy transformations are fun to see I think.) Liked the Spider Gwen transformation with the harem outfit maybe you can do more of those transformations with some other characters. The showcase characters you have been doing with the time-lapse videos have been both interesting to see the process you do in drawing and interesting concepts to. Did you get some inspiration from the Mask comics in your drawing? You have been doing a great job and hope you are able to do more to come!

I have never read the Mask, actually. I watched the movie and the cartoon a couple times, but they're obviously much, much different. I won't go into a whole thing about where all my inspiration comes from, but pause any transformation in Disney's Aladdin, and you'll see an inspiring frame for me.

Ok nice. 🙂 thanks for the reply. 😊

Heya Gnome. Well I've been a certified tf weirdo since i was in elementary school. The switch got flipped when i read a book about a boy being turned into a donkey at a carnival or something. Tg was introduced to me, like hundreds of others, by ranma. My perversion has only grown ever since. Tf as a subject i find fascinating. It was such a massive part of folk lore in the past. The desire to change is deeply coded into our dna. Personally it stems from a hatred of my own body due to a chronic illness. "Wouldn't it be nice to turn into a bimbo without that?" Oh escapism, my oldest friend. I've never been a big participant in the tftg community apart from writing stories. I maintain a clear separation between online life and real life. If i had all the money in the world to do a comic i would write it myself. I have several long term ideas that i think would make very fun comics. As for artists; you(duh), bsb, notzack, bimbophi, zoro, poppy, the list would be endless. Get a new artist for each comic The biggest thing i love about your art is your style. It is so beautifully defined. Cartoony and sexy. I don't think there's anyone on your pat that would mind being stuck in your world. But not just the style. You write fun stuff that brings me back any time my attention wanders off. Favor characters? Fem chad. That body is so ideal.

Captain Rocko

Well you've known me for a while but here goes. Well some of my favorite TF stuff normally revolves around some form of expansion. Like if someone is flattened, I want to see her in the shape of a round pancake or expanded outward so they don't resemble their original form. And ad that with some inflation and we're golden. Otherwise I'm all over the place, WG, clothes TFs, animal TFs, elastic women, muscle growth 💪. But I'm not into aging up or down and not interested in gore. I mostly don't really communicate with the TF community but my general rule to myself is try to do something no one has done before or hasn't done much of. One of my top waifus is Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop but all I ever saw from her was WG. That's not bad but I knew we could do better so I commissioned some artists to do blueberry Faye Valentine and now when you search for that on DA, you can see a few of them. When it comes to stories I've got tons, some fetish fuel, some more anime inspired without fetish stuff. I'm working on one comic with SuperSpoe now featuring the Totally Spies in a What If... Situation where the classic Passion Patties episode played out but what if the 3 girls ate the cookies instead of just Clover. Fans really like that one. What I like about your style? You're one of the more creative people I've known. You take an idea and instead of running it to 10, you crank it up past 11! The expressions, the eye for details on how things squish and bend, it's all so good! I came to you back in the Infinity Warp days and I really became attached to Silk. She's super cute and how she uses her powers is so cool. Outside of your OCs, I always love seeing more Mario stuff. Peach, Rosalina, Daisy, even Bowsette. I'd love to see more Daisy myself. 😁 I've said it before but Infinity Warp needs a proper conclusion. I'm definitely willing to pay for that.

Gnome Illustration

I don't know that I'm going to ever get back to IW. I think it would conflict with any plans I may have for Silk in the future (if any). That said, I'm thrilled you liked it.

I think I like writing Chad more than drawing Chad (in both forms) but I'm incredibly happy (s)he is resonating with you. :)

Alitorts

Hey Gnome! Hopefully your week has been better at the time your reading this! I'm going to apologize now as English is my second langue and even though I have been speaking it for a while now I still get my words mixed up! I am, for the most part a huge enjoyer of Inanimate TF's. Which I discovered while watching an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold with the metal men (which its hard to believe its been 17 years since the show premiered!) Well if I had money to fund my a comic idea of my choosing It would be Mr. Mxyzptlk turning various superheroines into objects trying to find the perfect gift to give to his wife/girlfriend Ms. Gzptlsnz only for him to grow dissatisfied and discard each TF'ed superheroine until he finally finds the perfect gift! My favorite thing about your art has to easily be the style. In all my time with the TF community I have never seen someone with such a unique and clean art style especially today where a ton of AI slop has plagued DeviantArt and other various websites. Its super refreshing to see! also shout out to your clothing TFs where after all these years you have somehow made each and every one feel different. Which I appreciate! Honestly I really enjoy all of your new OCs from Jinn and Garrett but I have to say my favorites are definitely Phillippa and Jinn! Outside of your OCs I would have to say Supergirl (especially her last design) and Princess Jasmine! Nothing comes to mind when I think of one specific piece that that has been dropped but rather two characters that I wouldn't mind making an reappearance, Jerry and Lydia from Gnome shorts! I really like the premise of those two.

Gnome Illustration

Thank you for your thoughts, Alitorts. I haven't seen that Brace and Bold episode (or I don't remember it). I'll have to give it a watch. :) The Myxy idea is a fun one, I can see a short comic, maybe in the Special K style, about those two. :) Jerry and Lydia! There's a pair I could also explore in a short comic. Thanks for the inspiring words!

A good transformation, in my eyes, captures a careful balance between retaining the essence of the transformee prior to the transformation and producing a novel look resulting from the transformation. I feel this is a forte of your art (and probably the favorite thing about your art), especially when you use clothes, inanimate, or any other transformations that allows you to incorporate portions of the transformee's original design into the transformation (e.g. the wing colorization in the harpy transformations for Arachne, MJ, and Spider-Gwen). I think the tftg community has a diversity of both art styles and subject matter specialization. The same type of transformation can have a different vibe or even rendering when drawn in a different art style. This extends the potential of a type of transformation and prevents them from feeling samey. A dream project of mine would be to write a comic, so this hypothetical infinite-money dream team idea would be an interesting scenario to explore this pipeline dream. Obviously, the comic would star either my own character, Arachne, or tell a Spider-Man story about a harpyfied MJ. Either idea wouldn't necessarily have to be NSFW. I would have to do some research into comic artists for a SFW version of these ideas, but from the artists I have commissioned in the past, these would be some of my picks (obviously not an exhaustive list): Gnome (You!): I love your art style and you have done a fantastic job depicting both Arachne and MJ. With infinite money to compensate for your time, I know you draw excellent driders and harpies. When you have a drider or harpy main character, having an artist who can draw those body types is a must! NotZackForWork: Zi has a WIP Spider-Man comic that gives me great confidence in their drawing Spider-costumes, which is relevant for both Arachne and a Spider-Man comic. All of the Aubrey commissions from them are also top notch. Sampleguy: Definitely a different art style than you or NZFW. He has expressed interest in drawing both Arachne and harpy MJ on separate occasions, although I don't know whether those statements were a fling of the moment thought. Finally, I also had a commission from a SFW artist for a hypothetical cover for an Arachne comic. Due to how that commission came out, he would definitely be an interesting pick, though the comic would have to be SFW/non-kink. I obviously have mentioned three characters whom I would say are my favorites of the characters you have drawn. Superhero(in)es in general would probably be my answer, with Rogue, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Power Girl to add to the three ladies I already mentioned. Finally (I have already written too much!), my pick for a past project I wouldn't mind seeing getting a sequel/successor/picked back up is more of a collection of semi-related or similar works: The Great Gizby and Harlee, Mini-Finity Warp (I'm including the DC toonification, as the format is similar), A Warp in the Park. This could be a sequel to the Great Gizby (or a Marvel version of the concept) or a before/after artwork in the vein of Mini-Finity Warp, DC Toonification, and A Warp in the Park, but not necessarily a continuation of those projects.

Alitorts

I believe the Episode is called Clash of the Metal men! I would recommended giving it a watch, and honestly I really cant sing praise to you and your work enough. Its incredible!

Guys, Phoinix has been a supporter for years, and (as you can see) a loquacious one. If you love Infinity Warp, you can thank them for a lot of the stories you read there. I think any trip back into the Warp-types series would, for me, have to be something new, but the Harlee & Gizby one, or Special K, would be my first picks to revisit as sequels. I think I always lean toward DC for the IP that I choose for transformation because of how iconic their designs are, how much of a hold on the zeitgeist they have, and the whole Silver Age looney-ness of it all. Marvel feels like maybe a next step, though, but the Infinity Gauntlet feels like already trodden territory (as does any other cosmic macguffins like the cosmic cube, et al.) I think there's room there, though. To be sure.

Bimbobub

My favorite aspects of Tfs is the person in question being morphed into whatever they're turning into and the end result of the transformation which could be fun like weight gain stretching out clothes beyond belief and ripping them, mtf TG being a favorite of mine where they could either rip their old clothes from the new curves or,be too small for them to point where the clothes are falling off or both could happen. Object, clothing , flattening, drider, and balloon Tfs are a new favorite of mine thanks to you're infinity warp series and other warps you've done since then. My favorite part of TG/tf community is how diverse it is with how they do Tfs themselves and how when they have dialogue it can enhance the tf even more with some fun dialogue. If I had infinite money and could assemble a dream team I'd make a comic similar to infinity warps but just with marvel and DC heroes going through various Tf paths to get to the end before the changes are permanent. I'd probably get gnome(you) or someone else that can do various Tfs and not have a problem with them at all especially weird ones like animal tf, object Tfs, and balloon Tfs. I've written stuff before so it wouldn't hurt if I gave it a try to write a comic. The story would be a mashup between the Beyonder and Gizby called Geyondzby put together some of the biggest and sexiest heroes together to escape their self made labyrinth before the transformations they've gone through are permanent. I'd also say there would be right and wrong paths with the wrong ones resulting in a bad ending like for example one path could lead to the heroes becoming Geyondzby's new petting zoo animals themed after the best heroes throughout the multiverse ,them becoming her new house furniture for her house,or them becoming strippers for her superhero themed strip club. The way to implement this path system would be a poll to chose what happens next. This is just a first draft of this idea though so take it with a grain of salt.

Gnome Illustration

Never thought of using the Beyonder; I know he'd be a good villain to center a short story around. :)

Bimbobub

Agreed honestly perhaps he could change Captain marvel or someone you haven't warped yet like Jean Grey/Phoenix or Storm.
