I realized recently, a lot of my drawings lack story because I stopped making animated stories. Looks like I need to start making animations again.

I remember one of my art teachers wasn't shy about leaving eraser marks on his work. When a student asked why? He said it's the history of the art, so it's part of the art.

Love this drawing. Makes me think of your original Akumi: Conspiracy and Capture animation if she were arrested by the Hex Realm Guard and she had to fight for her life to escape.

This is spectacular! And it really does convey a lot of story with just so little. Have you ever done just short written stories before? And what’s your writing process like?

Thank you! That's a cool premise for this image. I'd made an image similar to this when I was a teen with a different character that took place in the bathroom and the monster was dead in the tub. Wish I could find that.

Thank you! I appreciate that. I've only made animated shows. My process visual. I usuallyI just animated things I likeed and stitched together a story later. I always thought this was wrong but come to find out some of my favorite artists do it in a similar way. Hayao Miyazaki creating entire stories with just storyboards, no script. And recently watching interviews with Mike Mignola, found out he based all his stories just around things he wanted to draw.

Didn't you say you wanted to continue the Akumi story though?
