The Red Queen invokes the power of the dead.

I notice the art that grabs my attention most is the art that looks like it could be animated. The cel shaded look. Also in terms of design, I like it to look cartoony with a tiny sprinkle of realism. What degree of each varies but I like it leaning more towards the cartoon look.
When I was making the original Akumi character models, I imagined them as action figure toys. The next few pinups, you'll see me trying to walk that line again. Exaggerated proportions with large heads, hands and feet, short torsos. Slightly above cel shaded rendering. I want to eventually make 3d prints of my characters.
