No bone rig yet, but it's possible to create animations using something call "shape keys" in Blender. Basically, I can edit the shape of the face/model to look like anything I want, and Blender records the change and animates the the inbetweens. Amazing! Maaaaaan, this is getting fun!Onwards and Upwards!

The fact it only took you like a year and a half to get used to blender is amazing and it shows youre having a lot of fun with it.

nice, shape keys are very important! they and also be used for posing the body, for example using shape keys on the rear and on the groin and on the inner hip so that the mesh knows where to go when in certain extreme positions instead of just a deforming awkwardly when the bones are moved

It always amazes me how much info there is out there now for 3d. Stuff was impossible to find in early 2010s, but here you are self-learning shape-keying. 2d to 3d is a fun but time-intensive jump, you should be proud of the amount of progress you've made thus far!

Haha thank you. Yeah it was beginning of 2025 that I proclaimed I would learn Blender. It was me trying and quitting over and over. But yeah I finally have a basic understanding, and now it's fun!

Yeah I been learning about that. Hoping to start doing that this week. I still need to add her bone rig. But I'm excited to mix the rig with this shape key feature.

Oh man that is the truth. I was trying to learn since 2000... Getting the information to learn 3d was so difficult and classes were, and still are, soooo expensive. It's crazy how it's all flipped with Youtube. All the information is out there for free now. And thank you, I do feel so satisfied. It's crazy to me it's taken so long to learn. But here I am!

looking forward to your first animations then!
