Akumi 2019 - Character Sheet (Patreon)

The Akumi Revamp! Here's the results of using the character models I showed you in earlier posts. When I dressed the model up, I saw a lot of adjustments needed. For example, I scaled her head down about 12%, lengthened her legs and arms. She's closer to 6 heads tall now. Fine tuning!

I'm starting to wonder if your having a hard time choosing between hover boots and sneakers

clearly she wears both knowing her its just whatever she can find at the time of she rushes out

Hover boots are easier to animate iirc since they are larger shapes but sneakers are more casual and recognisable. Possible that he wants to see how both look on the model since they are both pretty Akumi.

Looks good ave more refined for sure, tho looking at the scarf, is it two pieces or one? I remember you said you use scarves so you can avoid drawing necks but here you have a scarf and the neck going in. Wouldn't that make it harder than just a neck since you have to worry about position? Or is this extra detail for the model sheet but will not be used in the animation?

Alfred I like both looks so I’ll have her in in boots and sneakers at different times. Greg is exactly right. For most action scenes she’ll probably be in boots.

Exactly Sutiru! Akumi will have both options now. Akumi isn’t the most organized person so she’ll use what’s most convenient.

Thanks! Yep that was one of the original purposes but now I like the neck and the scarf 🧣 The scarf acts as a secondary animation like a cape. When she stops, the scarf is still in motion. So it adds an extra element dynamics. There’s 3 pieces now, front scarf, neck, back scarf and scarf tail.

Hehe that'd be a pretty fun thing to see actually. Yeah that really snappy, fast cuts of people in the boots doing crazy stuff and having accidents. Probably need to make that eventually.
