Why is she in a bikini here? *SPOILER ALERT*  Because for the first episode, we'll find her on vacation at a beach resort. :)   But it could also be a fun way to do a throwback of her old-school outfit if she puts her boots on. Oh and we get to see her with her hair down which is also a rare event.

As I redraw Akumi over and over, I start to draw her neck and head without any division. It kind of looks cute.  But if this style will translate to cleanup art is yet to be determined.

I like her leotard outfit a lot more the bikini the bikini was ok a bit boring but ok. In this new series does Akumi still live with her roommate the elf girl with the purple dress/shirt thing and talks really fast

Doctor Mars

Why is she in a bikini? Does it matter? :0

miltoniusarts

I do want to introduce all the characters from the original episodes. How that plays out, I don't know yet.

miltoniusarts

We're gonna be seeing her on a vacation. Sort of a play on why she's been away for so long.

Luvh Art

Like the idea of a vacation. But I was wondering.. ever thought of making a fully animated comic book like series? Or maybe putting a comic book themed swing to your series?

Doctor Mars

I know. I was answering my own question. Trying to say it doesn't really matter why she's in abikini because bikini :p

miltoniusarts

Ohhh my bad, I read it wrong. :P I think the question gave me flash backs to the original Akumi where I got asked that question all the time. Haha and yes, the answer was because bikini!

miltoniusarts

I have thought about doing that but the effort it takes to make a animated comic and an animated show aren't that different. So I'd rather make the show if given the choice. Not sure what you mean by comicbook theme. Do you mean in terms of story, having the characters fight villains?

Luvh Art

Well I was more talking about panel switching like in some the super hero game ((think about tmnt arcade)

miltoniusarts

I had to look that up because I had no idea there was a new tmnt arcade game. I like the panel switching it has before a level starts. I might be able to do something similar but with maybe my world map. Either way, good ideas to play with just watching the gameplay footage there. Thanks for the idea! :)
