Animation Experiments - Trang (Patreon)

Welcome Trang the Void Weaver's intro animation. This is an old character I'm reintroduced as a new character to the Akumiverse!  I'm keeping her story a mystery for now because I have a fun idea for her origin in mind.

You can see a heavy use of hand drawn effects and lots of flat color. I've seen some beautiful anime techniques that embrace a very flat color style and simple design.  This is what I want to go for.  This is just the beginning, things will continue to evolve.own the design and look of the new Akumiverse.  With my recent animations, it had gotten to a point I was throwing too many filters into my animations which didn't do much other than slow my process down.  I want to go back to the basics and make it about the movement rather than how many After Effects filters I can throw into one scene. haha! *Looks at my marvel fan film.
