Which version do you prefer? Both versions we're done in Procreate but the first image I used a pencil brush line and the second image I used ink brush line. I think both look good but the sketchy line, at least in this example has a slightly more life.  But I think both styles work.

I want to improve my inking though.

I like the second more; your shading works best when converting brighter colors into a more dynamic and stylized version of said colors

Yeah, ink lines look more like a finished product too. I've been watching inking tutorials to find my own inking style. The next drawings I'll be posting I think are closer to the inked look I want.

I like both, the sketchy lineart from the first one gives a sense of texture and.motion while the solid lines of the second definitely gives the piece a more refined look. Either way, I absolutely love the design and hope to see more of it. Further, hearing you work in procreate makes me hope for tutorials from you.

The sketches come way more naturally for me. But yeah I want to inject that natural look into my inking as well. I'll try to do more of my old AQW armors when I can. Sometimes they are just too complex for my liking. But I'll definitely do some more Procreate drawing streams in the future and try explain what I'm doing.

I need to pay more attention to twitch so I can catch your streams again. Sketching definitely comes easier and I think that due to the mind filling in the ideal average location of all the repeated sketch lines, if that makes sense. I've taken up playing aqw again in my free time and yeah some armors ate much more detailed than I remember. Anyway, great work! Your stuff will be great to study again come new years

The more I think about it, it could be a fun exercise to reimagine some of my past AQW armors into my new art style of today. I'll look back through some of them and see what sparks my interest.
