It's strange I've ever only drawn these characters maybe 1-2 other times. This show, Puffy Ami Yumi, I worked on influence some of Akumi for sure. Was fun draw them in this style.

Always love to see Ami Yumi, I’m not sure if they’re still together as a band or not

It still crazy to find out you used to work on this show, I remember watching this and other shows in '05, coming home long day from school and head to living after getting my homework done (TMI I know 😅) but yeah, if Ami and Yumi was a show that Influence your art style. Then it's quite the tribute if not turn around seeing them in current style, quite the gorgeous upgrade to feel more flesh out. looking forward to more cute styles with them and other characters. 😊

Thanks! Good question. I did a google search and it seems they dissolved. They formed the band in 1995. There was a recent reboot of the animation last year funny enough. Not sure if that's still going.

Oh man the time flies by so fast! Thanks! I really like this style of drawing and using Clip Studio Paint. Using the new software is a bit more clunky and slower but results in nice lines. More practice must be done!

Yeah you said you worked on it. What did you do exactly? Yumi is my favorite.

Right before I started on Akumi, I was an animator on the Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi show when it was on Cartoon Network.
