To give context, when Mcgee and Ziva and the daughter first meet the bombmaker at the school. The daughter only knows him as her professor for one of her classes (like a counselor or advisor). So in that regard, there is nothing wrong with him meeting the daughter all the time. Because of class homework, assignments, papers. It's something that's normal in the American school system. You meet with your teachers, counselors, advisors for coaching, or just getting your papers looked at and reviewed before turning it in by the due date.
