Actress A.J. Cook was pregnant in real life so they had to come up with a storyline to show it. (if you go back, you notice in the last couple shows, they've shot her scenes while she's holding her arm in front of her, holding something in front of her, or seated/behind things). Regarding the stalked character's baby: absolutely Ryan needed to be informed before because a) he was equally a parent of the fetus and b) he will be equally responsible for raising the child even if through child support. Look at it like: if it's okay for her to say it's her body her choice and she has to think of her own best interest, then it's okay when a father says he won't pay child support because that's in his best interest to use the finances elsewise. It doesn't work that way and you can't have it both ways.
