Telling someone that there's a sequel to this episode in the future is actually a spoiler. That's all I wanted to point out. Sorry if you took it the wrong way. You see, on another Patreon that I'm following, these sorts of comments were not allowed at all, and people were encouraged by the content creator himself to let those individuals know that their comments contained spoilers. I thought it worked here the same way... and I was wrong. My apologies to you as well as GreyWolf TV. I will not warn anyone regarding spoilers again. Cheers.

Understood. I've also replied to the person in question again, apologized, and will not comment about the matter further. My goal was merely to prevent you from seeing a spoiler in the first place. I'm used to that from other Patreon channels, but here it clearly works differently, and I'm aware of that now and I respect that. Cheers.

To clear up confusion: Donnie Pfaster is not a shapeshifter. The scene where Scully sees him change his appearance is something Chris Carter came up with, after reading reports about someone who was kidnapped by serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, where the person reported that they saw Dahmer change his physical appearance. Now, within the X-Files universe we can interpret it simply that Scully sees several killers inside Donnie Pfaster, basically sees him morphing into various murderers / evil people. But a much more important observation though, is that both Scully and the mortician at the beginning of the episode see him as a demon. This must not mean that he is literally a demon or that he has any supernatural abilities, but perhaps it means that some people are able to see, for a few seconds, the evil that is inside of him. He could also be a "sort" of demon without any supernatural abilities, or be demon possessed and even unaware of it, and that because of that, certain people are able to see him for what he truly is. Either way, it is not implied he has any supernatural abilities, whether shapeshifting or otherwise. The point is merely that he is an extremely evil person, ultra mega evil... with basically zero good inside of him. So to some people he appears as a devil or demon-type creature.
