I put together a collection of photos I took during my trip to Maine last weekend. I'm releasing these for free to everyone. There are 20 pics of various things from landscapes, to animals to structures. I formatted them all to 4k (3840x2160) so you can use them as wallpapers if you're interested. The full collection is attached as a ZIP file. (If you download to a phone you'll need an unzip app to open it.)

Hope you enjoy the pics. :> The photography was a nice change of pace from my usual work and I've really been enjoying my new camera.

ooh! trip photography is always a blast. i got to go out to the west coast with my family and take my new(-to-me) a7c and a Tamron 28-75mm out and, for the first time, do nothing but take photos the whole trip. what camera / lens, if you don't mind me asking?

Awesome! Yeah it's fun :> I'm hoping to do some more eventually. I have a Canon R8. It has a full frame sensor which I've been wanting to get for the longest time. I used a variety of lenses for these shots. I have Canon 16mm, 50mm and a 75 - 300mm.

ooh, similar boat then yeah! i had been going back and forth between getting an APS-C or jumping straight to full-frame, but the thing that sealed the deal for me was my late grandfather's collection -- he shot on old Canon and Pentax film bodies and had a whole array of vintage lenses. with a full-frame mirrorless, adapters are dirt cheap. vintage stuff can sometimes succumb to moisture or mold, but if it doesn't... well, glass is glass, and it's a great way to build a collection.

Pulsar provides positively pulchritudinous pictures! Magnificent Maine. [Also, dare I say, you're still giving us shots of birds with seed(s) in their beaks?]

Those were some quite lucky shots x) I was just sitting in the back yard reading, but also had the camera next to me in case any birds came around to the feeders. And sure enough~ I was hoping to get some more shots of birds, but it was quite windy that day so they were mostly taking refuge in the trees and didn't come out much.
