September Mid-month News Post! (Patreon)

I know, I know - it's not the 15th yet, but I'm posting this a day early! Consider it a little hump-day surprise from me to my lovely patrons 💚So, let's jump right into it! I'm working on quite a bit of new content for Headspace under the hood: new enemies, new areas, new NPCs, and I'm experimenting with new features like Quests and Gardening! Let's take a look at some of the new things you can expect to run into in future updates:

Blocker CliffsMemories never stop piling up, but many Lesser Memories eventually become obsolete. Do you remember what you had for breakfast 8 weeks ago? How about what clothes you wore to bed last month (unless you're one of those nude sleepers)? These Lesser Memories turn to stone and end up packed away here, in the Blocker Cliffs. The tunnels within go for miles, so exercise caution if you find an entryway into the cliffside - you may not be able to find your way back.So, what exactly is a Blocker then? Well...

These spunky golems work tirelessly, keeping the cliffside neatly stacked and furthering the tunnels within. Their brick armor gives them pretty good Physical Defense, but apparently their clothes don't give them very good protection from the Cold...But if Blockers are in charge of stacking and sorting Lesser Memories, who crushes the memories into such neat little cubes? That would be...Compressor

When the going gets tough, the Compressors crush the absolute shit out of it. As you might expect, these heavy-duty workers are no joke - their brick gauntlets provide them with excellent Offense AND Defense. You'd better be prepared if you find yourself toe-to-toe with one of these busty bruisers.The OfficeNot all enemies are horny little fuck-goblins (unfortunately) - many Dark Thoughts just want you dead because "destroy" is the only thing they know! Here's a sneak peek at the Office zone and two enemies you'll encounter there:

....WELL, this place has definitely seen better days! Maybe there's something you can do to help restore the Church? I'm sure the resident Nun would be overjoyed!
