Brett Williams

Perfect timing for my insomnia. Thanks Ian!

IanHubert

No no Brett we both must go to sleep there is still time to see daylight tomorrow!

Jim Derks

Hey Ian, what's your take on UE5? I feel like Nanite would work really nice with a lot of photoscans and ofcourse the rendertimes would be a nice benefit aswell.

Diego Nossa

So much detail from projection mapping love it!! Looking forward to part 3. If you haven't seen The Boys on Prime I recommend it... the protagonist is not a superhero just like you mentioned.

Filip

very cool, is there any advantage of using the glass shader instead of just making the glass with principled shader and transmission? Thanks :)

Nader

Bay windows is the term you're looking for at 09m10s

Enormous

this was an amazing tutorial, learned a lot which I absolutely gonna use in the future and go crazy with it.

Daniel Skomorovsky

hmm.. theres just something about that Blender LTS page... I just cant put my finger on it

tommy

Yes yes yes yes yes. I havent watched yet. But I'm pumped

Stephan

A front to back of building somewhat larger environments is super helpful. Thanks for the part 1 & 2 posts!

Markus Schnugg

On the question of watching while it's rendering. I also do that all the time, even though I don't have the best graphics card. A good strategy there ist to make a small 2. cycles view from a static perspective, but with the speed of your computer it barely even makes a difference

IanHubert

Hahaha yes! Literally the reason it’s in there is because I watched it alone and was like man I wish I were watching this with friends hahaha

Spence

I was so rooting for the cables and translucent materials opposite of the market! I was shouting at the screen, "DO IT! DO IT!!"

IanHubert

I want to do it in its own video so we can go extra hard on it!

Spence

Yeah. I would love that! Bring it on!! haha!

Ben

How does your workflow for modeling hero assets like the car and the TERD robot differ from how you tackle background/environment elements (if at all)? I would love to see a video on that

Leo Nobu

Nice little series!!

Oanis

That was epic! Thanks Ian

Samuel Peng

Hey Ian! After watching the video I was wondering what is your workflow from Blender to DaVinci Resolve like? Do you render out image sequence and just dump it into Davinci?

Michael Steinheiser

EVERY.SINGLE.VIDEO. reveals a secret trick i didnt know about blender. These are my favorite videos you do I adore them! thank you Ian!!!

Rusta UZa

Hi Ian! Thank you for your tutorial! Would it possible to share the way you are setting the scene Lighting and post video processing

Volen CK

These are awesome to watch, thank you so much!

wetdragonkiller

Hey Ian, i've been having trouble photoscanning my own ground stuff and your previous ground scatters have been amazing but I cant for the life of me find good asphalt stuff like u did and they would be perfect. When are u releasing those here? and its very akward to ask someone to stand in a pose for 10 min, ive only scanned my hand so far. So also when are you releasing those people u mentioned u scanned recently that are a little better than the previous ones?

Miko Dela

Search for "Scanned Ground Elements" on this patreon :)

Tewan

Still waiting for part 3 :(

Inner Clip

I like watching your videos. It's like we are friends on discord talking about 3d and learning.

Gaurav Parab

I really love your videos, waiting for part 3 :)

Mattias Segers

I might be the only one here, but I'm thinking a male bra store for sumo wrestlers would be a great narrative :D

Lucas Weisman

Every time you post, I feel so inspired! Thanks Ian <3

Ian Letarte

store that sells blood snacks for vampires... accidentally ran the forklift into a palate

Mamadou Mboup

Kir Traber
