I have added another perk to the $10 level on InRange's Patreon -

Karl will host a live 1 hour Google Hangout once a month to just discuss anything: old west, infosec, philosophy, etc.

This hangout can be used to talk about things I really wouldn't likely discuss or put out as a video, but being this would be with some core supporters, it'll be a good place to have such a conversation and collection of the minds.

Think of it as Discord, but with video and audio and personal.

It'll probably be just me in these hangouts as Ian's schedule is insane, but who knows - maybe he'll make a few of them. I just don't want to guarantee anything besides that I'll be there.

Hopefully this is a cool perk for you guys at that level!

Additionally, I've added a new experimental level named "Old West Explorers":

I've given a number of people tours of the Tombstone, AZ area and realized that I've never seen anyone else giving a tour that was as extensive nor as historically factual as the one I provided just on a whim.

So, while I realize this is a large number being set at $50, it gets you all the perks already in place along with having the opportunity to attend a fully guided 2 day tour of Tombstone and some of the surrounding area provided by yours truly.

Essentially this lands up being a $600 tour that also supports InRangeTV as well.

I have no idea if this is going to be a thing or not but I figured it couldn't hurt to throw it out there.

I am sure this is going to be educational as well as a fun time. I was wondering if there were specific times where you or Ian might be on discord taking questions or is that just a when you can check in type of thing?

I'd certainly be interested in that hangout. I live on the east coast, so it's unlikely that I'd be near Arizona anytime soon

I'm fairly active on Discord regularly. Ian just brought up his own FW Discord, and I have no idea how often he'll be on there.

Instead of doing the $50 level, you may get more takers and interest in just offering a flat rate tour whenever you feel like doing one. Even if it were the same or similar price it is easier on everyone because we would know if we would be able to make it in that year for the one you do, etc. Something about paying monthly for something like that just feels off to me, but that is just my crappy opinion =)

Not going to lie, I will miss being able to ask questions. Was hoping to slip one in on the next Q&A about the What If the US Army had adopted a lever action rifle after the Civil War concept.
