I wasn’t really that nervous just annoyed at the sight of Liam but all the anxiety from the people is making me think I should be. I don’t think anything can happen at this point that our boys can’t talk about, plus Sooch never told Howie what happened. If anything I see an opportunity for that to happen soon.

I feel anxious but also a little disappointed. I believe in a relationship you should be able to hang out with your friends (even if i completely hate this friend). I also think Howie needs to text Casey and tell him that he's going. They live together and he isnt coming home. I would panic if my partner didn't come home. I would think something terrible happened.

I see a couple of things happening- 1. Sooch figures out that he has this party comes over there to drag Howie out and a fight ensues (In this situation I can see him bringing Josh since they are hanging and I feel like if this situation plays out then Howie is drunk as fuck 😭😭) 2. Howie doesn’t get super drunk and somehow figure out that Liam was the one who slammed him into the wall= probably a fist fight and Howie dropping Liam 3. Liam says some offhandedly comment about Sooch to Howie and he’s fighting 😭😭-> Either way… I just can’t see this ending well 😭

I can almost guarantee you this is leading to a huge fight w/Sooch. Bc Sooch will be mad that Howie was hanging out with this douche, but he still won't want to tell him why it makes him so upset, so Howie's gonna feel controlled or something

I haven’t done a full re-read in a while so…did Liam even ever apologize for abandoning Howie on a curb in the middle of the night when Howie was all fucked up from smoking with him? I feel like that wasn’t even that long ago in comic time. And had he ever even hung out with Liam before that? What’s the in-story evidence that Liam is even a “friend” that Howie should be concerned about ditching?

...I'm calling it: Howie gets a little tipsy and/or high, passes out (due to the mix of stuff and lack of sleep) and Sooch gets pissed and worried wondering where he is. As a bonus: Dickhead tries to shoot his shot while Howie is "not all there" (either telling him he likes him, going for a kiss without consent, or silencing Howie's phone when sooch calls). All & all: I am ready for this RIDE!!!!!🍿😎

Oh god this isn’t gonna end well. I think this is gonna lead to Sooch telling Howie that that’s the guy who shoved him into a wall. Because if y’all remember, he didn’t tell Howie how it happened. This exactly. Howie is absolutely right that he shouldn’t abandon his friends because of his new relationship, but not communicating with a partner who is expecting you to come home at a certain time is… cruel? I’d be freaking out if more than an hour passed with no communication at all. Not because of jealousy or mistrust, but because I would assume something awful like a car wreck had happened 😭😭

See, I was thinking about this too but Howie was so out of it that he might not remember it badly himself. So Casey was super mad about it because *he* saw how dangerous it was, but maybe Howie just remembers hanging out with Liam and smoking some weed?? At this point, I’m not sure he has enough evidence to properly assess Liam, and really, Sooch needs to actually let him know about some of the things Liam has done.

I’m not worried about Howie and Sooch- they are good at talking and if Sooch is worried, he’d just text Howie. I do think it’s really likely that Liam makes fun of him or Sooch or both. And Howie goes off. Regardless so much of this comic is smooth I’m very curious about this drama!

Okay 1) you absolutely can decide you wanna stay at home with your partner instead of going out to do stuff with other people without being a crappy friend. 2) i know Howie still considers Liam a friend, but even without him knowing what Liam did n said to Sooch this is so v not smart of Howie bc this is the guy who left him outside high as a kite in the middle of the night. I could be remembering wrong but I could’ve sworn Liam was also one of the “friends” who poked fun at Howie after he came out. Red flags everywhere for him being a person who is just generally not good to be around. 3) HECKIN. TEXT YOUR MAN, BROTHER. if someone is even five minutes later than they’re supposed to be and they don’t let me know why, i am positive they’re dead in a ditch somewhere. If Howie wanted to do this then fine, but he absolutely should’ve warned Sooch first so he wouldn’t worry. And ofc he SHOULD be worried if Howie is with Liam regardless, but at the same time Sooch doesn’t even really have a right to be upset at Howie still hanging out with him bc he is the one who chose to not tell Howie what Liam did, and you *know* that if Howie knew the truth he would’ve given Liam the middle finger and never thought twice about hanging out with him again. But he didn’t tell him so here we are. This is why being honest and communicating with your partner is sick nasty rad and cool 👌🏻✨

This feels so out of character for Howie. Like, Sooch is *right there.* If this leads to Liam trying to kiss Howie and Sooch somehow finding out or to some sort of argument that could be solved with better communication, I will scream. The only acceptable drama to come from this dumbass decision is Howie learning that Liam was the one who hurt Sooch and breaking ties with him forever.

Based on everything in the comic so far, I don’t really see a misunderstanding / bad-communication trope happening… or at least not one that would last or cause any significant relationship problems between Howie and Sooch. They’re too good at talking things out. But I do think some sort of Liam related drama is due and I am ready for it!

This is generally how I feel as well but it's also out of character for Howie to not have Sooch on the brain 24/7 and I just can't fathom he wouldn't say anything to him, so I worry that we're going down that route. And it would be wild because the only reason Howie & Sooch are at this point in their relationship is because they excel at communication.
